Agreed.
Why on Earth was this film a found footage? It didn't need to be. I didn't even know it was one until I started watching.
This film had a fairly enjoyable idea behind it, but you felt like they were trying to cram in too many horror genres. I was okay with the fact that it was a cross between a slasher and a supernatural. But why be a found footage? There wasn't even any reason for the characters to be filming what they were doing. And the fact the phone it was being filmed on ran out of battery at one point, and then another character happened to turn on their phone in a different part of the school. That was weird, and seemed out of context in a found footage movie.
I'm not really a found footage fan, but here they didn't seem to be doing the format properly somehow.
Should've just left it, and made it a regular film. It would've been more entertaining.
