Effective Low Budget

This movie is a bit slow, but it was pretty good. Alittle like Cabin Fever, only the cause is a chemical spill. I thought it built up really well as the movie went on. Could have used a better, stronger script. But the movie was an effective slow burn chiller. Especially if you have MCS, this was scary. Those of us with MCS live this movie every day, but to a lesser degree. So this definitely creeped me out. If you liked the Cabin Fever movies, you will probably like this one.

I agree, a little on the stressful side if you're an asthma suffer, too. Certainly a film with good glorious melty gore. The mouth to mouth made me gag a little.

I didn't see how the house would be much protection for long and the fact that the chemicals reacted to moisture would have meant that throats, mouths, eyes etc would have been most affected. It was interesting and I felt bad for Rae the main character who had to endure so much abuse from her sister.

I saw an episode of "I Survived" about a chemical spill from a Train. An Elderly couple was trapped in their Home. Stuff melted in their House. Clocks, The Fridge, etc. Their Dog died. They started coughing up blood. 911 told his Wife to take a Shower and her Skin started coming off.

The couple's Son was a Fireman and tried to help them but the area was quarantined by Police who threatened him if he went to help him (!) 911 kept telling them help was coming. Help was *not* going to come. Eventually they preserved and sued the town.
