Typical double standards from hateful gays

Gays hate Christians and Mormons more than the other way around. But the several times that the believers do something against gays, which does happen, it becomes a media frenzy.

*beep* double standards. Gays are just as distasteful, if not more distasteful than Christians and Mormons.

There are many people that have been hurt by Christians. Not all Christians are bad, but when people keep hearing hate over and over from people who claim to be all about God's love, can you really blame people for being suspicious. Also, I don't think the movie was hateful toward Christians, his mother and sister seemed accepting, and while the dad is having a hard time with it, he loves his son, and may come around with time. I volunteer at an LGBT resource center, we have Christians that come in to use our resources, and we have several churches that have asked to advertise with us, have had tables at our pride events. A pastor came by a few weeks ago, saying that thier church in the past had not been welcoming to the gay community, but said that his church is moving towards that and said if there was anything we needed to let him know. I am an atheist myself, but I do know Christians that aren't hateful, but even they will admit that they have seen it many times in their own community.

Have you talked to your Doctor about the movies you watch? -My Grandma

The movie is not hateful is it? I believe a lot of Mormons ARE willing to see this story.

Mormons are amazingly faithful. They are good people and would be awesome to have as friends and part of my extended family. Some say this is what the close of Raising Arizona suggests. But I'm gay so I know there are limits to acceptance by them.

When young Mormons realize they are gay, that comes with a lot of pain, as The Falls shows us. Young people of any anti-gay faith feel such pain when their leaders tell them point blank they don't belong.

That is all this movie is saying. Where is the hate in that?
