I'm happy it concluded. It's a really good series, with some really bad moments.
What makes me really ticked off about the show, is that it's so historically inaccurate at times, especially considering it's on the history channel.
However, some really good writing, dialogue is superb at times, acting is really good.
It's a must watch for anyone interesting in learning something about the Vikings.
As a whole, I loved the show but with good optics you can see a lot of cracks in the veneer. Just enjoy it, I suppose. LOL.
SPOILER ALERT:
I hated the way King Harald and Ivar died.
Bjorn had a great warrior's death.
The very end with Floki and Ubbe was great but seemed a little odd that Floki was back.
Probably the one thing that bugged me the most was how changeable Ivar's ability to walk was. At one point he was dragging his legs around with his upper body strength and later he was walking and putting weight on his legs and pushing his weight up and forward with his legs as per a normal stride. Sorry to nitpick. LOL. At one point he's severely crippled and another he is slightly crippled.
Oh well.
