It was strange...

...and oddly touching to see in Episode 6 this season Ivar and Hvitserk, the sons of Aslaugh and Ragnar huddled together with Hvitserk sleeping nestled next to his brother in the prow of a boat after they were united (I must have missed how Hvitserk got to where Ivar is) with Ivar saying that he was glad to see the brother whose woman and her family that he murdered in his rage. Wonder how this will go. Has his time with the Rus humanized Ivar and made him miss his family? Has Hvitserk been so mistreated at the hands of Bjorn and yes, Ivar, that he is glad for human contact even with the brother who killed his woman? Hvitserk has accomplished what Ivar had always thought was his destiny: to kill Lagertha, the woman who murdered their mother.
Are things even between the brothers? Will they remain close?
