NBC's coverage was sub par

while I missed the broadcast of Isles of Wonder all other coverage(from what I understand)I saw was sub par in service. I'm not an expert on TV aesthetic so as far actual literal coverage I don't know. However the delayed broadcast and similar blatant use of the games solely for profit, was aggravating to say the least and in no way a service to the public. Specifically on the subject of the opening ceremony, NBC has also irritated me because I have been unable to find any information on a DVD release of the footage. Having a monopoly [in America] on the footage and rights seems to have wrecked any desire to serve anyone other than themselves. So I completely agree: it was sub par.
