Don't Bother

This movie has so many logic holes in it, it makes very little sense. To wit:

Jimmy and his step-brother (the lawyer) have a massive falling out when Jimmy is paroled yet Jimmy show up in court to lie on behalf of his step-brother. This takes place without any on-screen indication and, when called to testify, his lawyer brother does not realize he has been in court all the time.

Anyone who has ever walked on snow and ice must realize it is impossible to walk silently yet when Davis comes up behind Jimmy at the side of the van no noise is heard. Likewise, at the end of the movie after Davis has shot the lawyer and is holding the lawyer's wife the detective shoots Davis after (1) getting to his house before the police and (2) without noise of any kind (we're assuming she had to drive then walk to where she was standing).

The several days while the lawyer is following Davis, breaking into his house etc., how is his boss not wondering where he is? Shouldn't he be at work?

The lawyer, after knocking out the cop at the station, steals his personal car and drives out of the lot past the guard station. The guard doesn't know who he is yet recognizes him as a lawyer. How? When he was arrested his wallet, identification and all personal items would have been confiscated by the police.

And, it sure is easy to break into a police station in Chicago. No wonder they have such a problem with crime.

Samuel L. Jackson must have been low on cash to take on this turkey of a project.

Plot holes aside, I enjoyed it. Or rather, it entertained me or under 2 hours. Plus it was free (thank you, Internet) and Dominic is easy on my eyes. Reminded me of a better-than-average Lifetime movie, though.

I enjoyed it too.

agree, the part about the step brother coming out of nowhere to lie about the phone call took me out of the movie early (i couldn't get over it, kept going "wtf just happened there" for a long time).
