jimmy logan

At the end of the film, Jimmy Logan is at the house of Mitch, his wife and baby. Is there any reason to believe that since Samuel Jackson nearly killed Jimmy that Jimmy is in fact a bad person (child molester, rapist, something of that nature)? I got the sense at the very end that while Mitch had fended off one monster (Samuel Jackson), another one was coming for him (Jimmy). Maybe I'm reading too much into this film though lol. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

(I gave this film a 7/10; it was actually entertaining imo and kept me interested all the way throughout the film; found it on netflix)

I just watched it on Netflix. I didn't get that feeling, but, you've made an interesting guess.

I think Samuel L Jackson was killing Jimmy for the fact of he was following him, and he wanted to see Mitch hurt even more, also to set up Mitch for killing his step-brother.

You may have given the producers an idea they hadn't even thought of, although I personally liked Jimmy and was rooting for him.

What surprised me was that he was still alive after that bang to the skull.

No, it does not mean Jimmy is a "bad" person. He was going to kill Jimmy (or almost kill him) solely to get back at Mitch. He was also going to kill Mitch's wife and baby and they weren't bad people either.
