Was there a follow up planned (about Winnie)? Possible spoilers...

After Mandela decides to honor his pact with the president, he sees that Winnie prefers the militant rout, so they separate. The story then continues with Nelson, while Winnie is kinda forgotten...did they plan a second movie? It was odd that they'd spend the time showing her struggle while Nelson is locked up, and then not put a conclusion on HER story.

Just a question...Winnie never...saw someone else...while Nelson was incarcerated for 27 years?

Awesome movie though. I like several genres, so I'll say that this was without a doubt the best bio-drama of the year. Definately deserves an oscar.

Just one thing...Nelson has clearly aged at the end of his stay in the prison, while the prison guard didn't seem to have aged a day :). Other than that, 9/10.

It would be interesting if a Winnie biopic was done.

There is... but it wasn't well received.

I think they should re-cast Naomi to do a proper biopic of Winnie Mandela. Her story and character development would make an incredible movie/film.

I agree ^

I saw the movie but the last act of the movie takes a turn I different expect when her Bodyguards get out of control and the consequences of those actions. I think that is why it was not well received. It had nothing to do with Jennifer Hudson being Winnie. I thought she was excellent and as good as Naomi Harris. I was just shocked by the her bodyguards and the fact that Winnie allowed the bodyguards to do what they did.

There's actually been several movies made about her life already, besides the Jennifer Hudson one

There is a Winnie Biopic movie starring Jennifer Hudson as Winnie as Terrence Howard as Nelson Mandela. It is available at your local Redbox
