guilty or not??

Jacob??

reply

Jacob's classmate Sarah killed Ben. It is not a coincidence that she is black, because this story is mainly about white privilege and white guilt.

reply

i don't think so

reply

That's because you are not asking the right question. The question should be "Jacob's mom??"
Anyway, I hope the answer you are looking for will reach you, someday somehow.

reply

yes, she tried to kill her son.

reply

...and she got away with the murder attempt. That's the white privilege in the justice system. Imagine what would happen to Sarah in the trial.

reply

How the hell has nobody called you out on this disgusting public display of racism?

Ooh I wonder why IMDB had to close all of their forums. What a brain scratcher. You’re wired up so wrong it’s almost funny. Nutcase.

reply

Displaying your private part in public would be disgusting. But racism is not like a dick, why are we not allowed to discuss racism in public? Hiding racism behind shame cloth won't make the problem go away. Denying racism won't make everything great again. It's funny how some people like you are intellectually castrated on the existing social issues like classism and racism. Check your wire first before calling out others.

Shutting down the IMDB message boards was purely a business decision. Can you even imagine how much server space and maintenance having a forum for every little thing in show business requires??

That said, zeesha always has his own bizarre interpretation of everything, you can disregard.

That little weirdo either did it(most likely) or he is the stupidest innocent person to ever get accused of a crime. It's like he wanted to look as guilty as possible and hamstring his own defense at every turn.

reply

true

reply

In the book he is guilty and I think that he is guilty in the serie as well

reply

so it's clear in the book.

reply

Definitely guilty.

Who doesn't call the police if they happen upon a dead body?!?! The cover up story Jacob told was lame and full of holes as evidenced by the scene when the attorney was asking him simple questions about what happened. He was easily rattled. The JOB story was much more believable b/c it's what happened. What teen isn't a little rattled when seeing a dead classmate? Jacob was happy at school and was playing games that same night?!?! He made crazy meme of himself. He immediately ran away when the police were at his house. He had a knife. He had motive. He had opportunity. He has sociopathic/psychopathic tendencies. He did it, IMO.

reply

If you simply happen upon a dead body you are better off simply turning around and walking away as long as you haven't done anything that would connect you to the body like touch something or drop something that might lead to you. The police only want to find someone that can be put on trial for every murder they investigate, they don't care about finding the real perpetrator only the quickest easiest person they can pin it to, it is why they often start looking at whoever finds a dead body which is why I would just turn around and walk away. No reason to get involved let some other poor fool that happens upon the body turn it in and have the police start trying to pin the murder on them.

reply

As sad as it is to your, there is some truth to it :(

reply

That's the easy theory.

My alternative theory is that somebody else killed him, some other student who knew Jacob and knew the guilty association was a dream come true. It could be Derek, or someone the viewers haven't been introduced to before. I think the show could go in that direction, while teasing us that it could be Jacob.

There's no doubt that the kid has got problems, and at worst is a psychopath. But that doesn't mean that he's guilty. Plenty of psychopaths exist without killing - I know, I've worked with them lol.

reply

Guilty, definitely. He's a little weirdo, creepy kid.

reply

The fact that they don't even tell you is annoying. Ambiguous endings suck.

reply

i agree

reply

Glad I dumped it after 4 episodes then.
