Don't waste your time

The first 1/2 hour of this movie was so annoying and Deena and Holly seemed more like giggly school girls than adults. I almost stopped watching but decided to give it a shot in case the rest of the movie was better. It wasn't.

Ditto.

Thanks for the warning, but what some people consider a waste of time, others consider two hours well spent... sooooooooooooooooooooo, I'll make up my own mind, thank you.

... the hardest thing in this world is to live in it...

It was just ok, the ending was fairly ridiculous though, like you just wasted the past 2 hours.

Agree! First half of movie is slow and pointless build up. The second half is run-of-the-mill good feeling movie.

Not worth watching. Only scene that is watchable is when Bo's parents visit Holly. Their acting was hilariously bad.

I gave up when Holly was having dinner with Bo and his parents, and they were doing mannequin poses for various holidays. Don't get me wrong, I loved "The Twilight Zone" episode with the mannequin in the department store, but this was nowhere near as interesting or as good. It was a bit painful to watch. Especially the first hour where the girls would not stop squealing. My cat was asleep on the couch and woke up in shock from hearing the noise!

I sometimes don't read the bottom of posts because I think it's a signature.

Was I supposed to like Holly or root for her? I found her to be so grating.

I found that I couldn't do either one.

In looking for her fantasy (perfect) guy, she overlooks what's right in front of her and later comes to realize that perfect isn't all that it's cut out to be. It's just another story about the "right guy", who pines for her, being stuck in the friend zone. She pretty much treats the "right guy" poorly, choosing to ignore his obvious interest because he doesn't fit her imagine of the perfect guy. Rather than just moving on, the "right guy" hangs around and of course later she gets the guy and happy ending.

Nothing new...its the same worn out plot used in so many other movies like this and the lead female character certainly was annoying. It don't know which was more irritating......her giddy school girl behavior or her shallowness.

If you saw the movie "Lucky in Love" and didn't care for it then pass on this one. It's almost the same basic plot only this one is worse.

It's not supposed to be an Oscar worthy movie, it's a cable TV rom-com. Considering the premise, I think it's rather cute.
