Gerard shoots pretty sniper, ignores spotter?

Let's be honest here. It's not like the sniper and the spotter were the only 2 bad guys in the White House garden. I think we were being asked to believe that Gerard did what he could, in the face of overwhelming odds, in his race to get inside the White House.🐭

You kill who you can. He was outnumbered. Killing the sniper is a priority over a spotter. That's why they are spotters, the sniper has better aim

He could also have killed the spotter off-camera, when there was a cut to another scene. Just because something is not shown in a movie does not mean it never happened.
