I find the host incredibly annoying

I love all the shows on I.D. channel but this one is my least favorite of them because I feel the host pulls you out of the serious dramatization segments with his snarky remarks, where he usually INSULTS the people in the story by calling them idiots and dumb asses!

I was gonna post the same thing! Yes he is the worst part of the show. His snarky commentary really ruins the flow of the show. I keep thinking, he looks like he may have a few bodies in his cellar himself.

Also the female narrator's style of reading sometimes is off putting.

You people are nuts-Darrens the BEST part of the show! The narrator goes on and on, and all this reality show talking to the camera crap can get redundant! Plus, hes funny as hell!

I have no problem with him. No one can take the place of Paul Winfield on "City Confidential" in my book, but this bloke is okay. I really watch the the murder; not the host EXCEPT Paul Winfield. That guy's voice was like taking a sleeping pill. I'd fall asleep on it and watch it earlier the next evening so I was assured not to fall asleep again. lol!

Laura San Giacomo has the same effect on me when I watch "Snapped".

I watched the show for the first time today and thought the same thing.

I think he wouldn't be so bad if he used a different tone of voice. He comes off a bit too cheesy.

Actually the glasses are real. In the episode shown on April 11, "If I Can't Have You," you can clearly see reflections in the lenses.

I like him too
