Random thoughts about Go On...

1) This show can both make me literally laugh out loud and tear up in a single episode. I do love Go On.
2) Carrie could play a younger version of Janie. The actresses resemble each other, in my opinion.
3) Danny is apparently dead.
4) Thank goodness Mr. K is never naked when he bends over to pick up the pennies he keeps dropping.
5) I hope this show lasts a long time.

Well, Danny is also in a relationship now, so he probably feels like his problems are solved. He will probably make a return at some point.

On a non-story version of saying it, some of the actors probably have prior commitments or have other roles. Because of the whole "not required" part of the group for anybody that wasn't Ryan at the start of the series, people can come and go almost as they please. George randomly appears and disappears. In character, you could probably chalk it up to "Cuz blind". Outside of it, it's probably because Bill Cobbs does a decent amount of roles in other shows.

I don't have a problem with anyone in the group missing a few episodes as they are all recurring roles and have other projects they are working on. The past few weeks didn't need the entire group. This last episode was a major one, though. Ryan was finally spreading Janie's ashes and letting go of the past. It's only right that the entire group who helped him cope to begin with be there, or at least have their disappearance explained.

Then again, Ryan would never have been able to make his "one of nine" baseball metaphor.

My only problem is that the group is incestously tight knit. I always think it's an oversight that no one even mentions or questions when one of the group members isn't there.

It would be kind of cool if, when somebodies not there, they took 30 seconds to make note of it. Like, near the start of the episode there would be something like "Hey, Ryan. Do you know where George is?" followed by a clip of George dancing in a bar, or playing laser tag, or something weird.

Just something to make note of the person being gone.
