the finale

I finally watched the last two weeks of Go On.
I thought the next to last episode was better than the finale.
I guess I was just let down that the cute co-worker just vanished. I also got annoyed by the gang trying to push to get rid of the ashes.
I give the finale a B-

I was disappointed by it also. It just felt like a big retread of past storylines and episodes. I had a lot of deja vu and struggled to place each episode I remembered stuff from but I definitely do.

Like Lauren sucking at being a therapist, and then being good again, then sucking again, then being good.. and so on. Haven't we gotten past that point yet? It sure seemed like it until this ep.

The Yolanda and Sonia pairing was funny the first few times but it felt really stale this time, as did Anne and Mr. K. They have to be careful about overdoing those. When George, Owen, Danny, etc. are actually present they should use them more, since we see Yolanda, Sonia, Anne, and Mr. K every episode. I almost see no point in even having them back at all if they're just going to focus on those other characters and use those three as boring background characters.

Ryan being forced to let go of something of Janie and the group being so annoying about it fell flat also. We already sort of had a big, good moment of him and Anne letting go of their wedding rings together.. why did we need the ashes plot? It seemed like just an excuse to use the Bisquick gag and have the predictable moment of the real urn breaking in an ill twist of fate. Steven's hymnal was the best part of the episode, which you can see they recognized as they had him sing it twice.

Carrie being gone did suck, also. I don't like they wrote her out. Even if temporary, I still don't understand that decision.

Anyhoo! Yeah, I think it was one of my least favorite episodes. The rest of the season was solid and a great start. I hope season two (if they get it) is as consistent and corrects some of the errors.

that's his decision, not someone else's.
Try and not confuse this silly quirky sitcom with what should be done in the real world. Best to take peoples actions a little less serious
