Terrific show and cast - why cancelled!??

This is a terrific show! Absolutely awesome. Matthew Perry is dead on perfect and really seems to care and enjoy his work on the show and gives it his all. Why have all Perry's shows been cancelled until The Odd Couple, where he seems bored and repressed and in the later episodes delivers his lines in a monotonous tone.
