Plaese someone let me know

What was the thing he forced her to eat to prove she was his mother?

What happened at the scene where he wants to rape his mother? Does he accomplish this? I don't get whether he is in fact raping her or not?

What does the eel signify? Does it mean something special in the Korean culture or is it just a means to show us that he has become less hard hearted after meeting his mom?

What is the deal with the actual animal killing in the movie?

And why does she help him hurt and kick the guy who was pushed down the building? Just to be more believable?

I had assumed it was a piece of *beep* since he got it in the bathroom, but then you see that he's bleeding, so I'm not sure either. Maybe it was just some viscera that he had lying around from slaughtering animals (he seemed to leave this on his washroom floor for some reason), but the blood suggests he cut something off himself?

One thing I AM certain of - Korean filmmakers are *beep* nuts. No other nation seems to routinely put out such sort of grotesquely taboo stuff in their movies, like all this is totally normal or something.
