What is with the Christmas specials this year?

First Fairly Oddparents: Odd Christmas, and now another Spongebob one done in Claymation? Nick is getting desperate. For the record, I actually watched Odd Christmas. The only convincing character was Crocker. At least he was true to form. I think this will be the end of FOP now that all the Divas in the last five years have gotten their "big TV breakout role" and subsequent made-for-tv movie.
