The Lord and the Cook
Who wants to bet that they had a steamy affair in the past and that Sarah is his daughter? So she'll inherit Hazelwood Manor and everything will be peachy and herself and Sean will continue the legacy....

Oh he definitely won't die and he's going to 100% hook up with Julie- it would be just a good wrap up if Sarah turned out to be his daughter!
sharei mean going all asoiaf (got) can't you legitimise bastards? Couldn't Lord H reach out to the queen and get her legitimised?
The Legitimacy Act 1926 of England and Wales legitimized the birth of a child if the parents subsequently married each other, provided that they had not been married to someone else in the meantime. The Legitimacy Act 1959 extended the legitimization even if the parents had married others in the meantime and applied it to putative marriages which the parents incorrectly believed were valid.
But this may not apply to peerages? Im sure a child was legitimised by marriage in the Monoco Royal Family at some point in recent history

Good call! I was hoping things will not be so predictable, alas the last episode was just exactly the way I thought it was going to end. Gotta say though, I didn't see Sean's backstory coming.
shareI love this idea! I can't wait until next week when his wife & step-son are thrown out (hopefully). Can't stand them.
shareDamn, that must have been the most obvious reveal if this many people called it ahead of time. I was actually going to post a thread about it myself last week but forgot to and was kicking myself for not having proof of the prediction.
Apparently, though, we all saw it coming a mile away.
Just like everyone pretty much knew since the beginning that Spencer and the American dude are undoubtedly responsible for Amy's disappearance.
This season hasn't been nearly as good as the others with the whole individual character development dedicated to each episode. The timelines aren't weaved together as well either. Still, it's worth it for Godfrey.
