Forgot about the Concept

I really liked this show and I thought they should have at least brought it back for at least a second season, but did anyone else notice that they dropped the "super fun night" concept after like the third episode? The show started with Kimmie, Helen Alice, and Marika spending their Fridays doing something out of their comfort zone. They went to a club, they went to a piano bar where Kimmie sang, and they tripled dated but after that, they just went their own separate ways. Kimmie stared doing more stuff with Kendall and Richard and Helen Alice and Marika would do their own thing.

There was so much more wild and crazy adventures they could have went on to keep people interested in the show. Kimmie could have rode a mechanical bull or they could have went to Central Park and participate in a scavenger hunt. Or they could have gone to a comedy club and did a stand up routine, obviously hi-jinx ensues with each place they go.

Don't you hate it when horror movie posters are scarier than the movie itself?

I think ABC played a major hand in crashing the concept of the show.

It was originally supposed to be like an anti-Sex in the City. A show about the "other girls" who can't get boyfriends and who aren't incredibly successful and their lives in the big city.

Almost instantly, the show turned to putting more emphasis on the "prettier" members of the cast and it snowballed into yet another generic, 20-something sitcom with no identity.

^ This sounds about right.

The concept of "the other girls" who don't go out in a traditional manner, but still have fun together is what the show was supposed to be all about. Then they decided to put too much emphasis on Kimmie getting together with Richard and such.

It had potential, but they changed the concept part way through.
