doomsday book

Of the 4 viewers(one of them is me)at a small movie hall in a small city in Turkiye, the three left during the movie, but I survived till the last scene(!).ıt was not a bad work,I liked it though, but during the zombie part,I felt really sick!this part is the exact remedy for obesity(!) and is the only source to make people vegetarian or vegan(!).It's been more than 4 hrs since I left the movie, but I still feel sick.I've decided to become vegan, and I still cannot stand the idea of any kind of food or drink at all.I strongly advice the zombie part to people who needs to go on a strict diet.No deiticians,no slimming tablets, just a few bucks worth movie ticket! That's it!By the way,the rest parts of the movie are OK.Try it!

Haha, I saw the movie right after supper and it did make me regret it!

I saw this segment more as a warning for our overconsumption of natural ressources than a straight out pro-vegan film. That the human race will eventually be destroyed by its own negligence, carelessness and lack of respect for the planet.

A friend of mine saw this story as a fable about love. I guess we all have different ways of interpreting movies!

For me this movie is a masterpiece of fun and think. The first and last movie are really fresh, crazy idea of the end of the world. And the second, for me it's quite good sci fi, i'm a fan of the genre, and this is good stuff.
For me first movie is about lazyness, if he had cleaned up well, humanity would still stand, but beeing lazy doomed us all. Like the child of last movie, she didn't wanted to face a lie, so she destroyed earth.
Anyway, the photography of all 3 movie is great, rythme is good, and sotry are awsome, what we need more? :)

I felt the short film "tea break" was a more anti-meat argument than this film-- as pointed out, I felt the story in the first segment was more about over-consumption, laziness, and general malice leading up to our demise.

And I actually found myself making a snack after watching it. I've seen worse on the surgery channel, it's going to take more than some goop, an animatronic cow being smacked in the head, and a lot of rotten food to make me give up bacon.

Mmmmmm bacon.... :p

But in all seriousness, I adored the film in general and found the second segment far more interesting with its themes and subject matter, and the last segment was just too quirky for me not to love. The first segment, I had a bit of mixed feelings about-- I found it a bit meandering but overall I enjoyed it's quirks and argument against waste and over-consumption (and don't really see it as a diet/vegetarian flick, but as an argument for more careful, intelligent consumption of resources).
