Really? Nothing?

...why... :(

It was cool, but it was more of a demo of technology than anything else.

reply

Every time I see the demo, I realize that this was a story that could have almost written itself.

The tragedy is that it was only a technology demo and that's all there ever will be.

Till somebody decides to do something else with it.

It's great and amazing, I'd like to see more too,
but yeah, they probably won't do anything else.

Well now we have "Ex Machina" which at least has a bunch of nods to Kara and the time frame matches well to serve as an inspiration. Alas (spoiler warning), the movie ends similarly and you're left wondering what the android will experience and do now.

It's perfect. The creator wanted a tech demo but also at the same time wanted to create a story with the limited time he had. If you ask me, it came out perfectly. I wouldn't mind not seeing anymore of Kara because the story powerfully made its point with the little time it had.

reply

The pace and timing was perfect. Kudos to the director. Kara was well brought to life by Valorie Curry. She is better than Robin Williams in Bicentennial Man.

This story will be fleshed out and Kara will return in Detroit: Become Human for the PS4.
