What were the shots Abby received at the doctor's office?

I think tetanus shot.

Thanks. I thought they were for stds as she remarked to the doc that she was being careful & safe. Also, she went back more than once.

Just watched the movie, thought it was gonna be about NFL players taking too many head shots & boy was I in for a surprise. (Spoiler Alert: It's about Lesbians!) First thing I said when it was over was, "what the hell were those shots that she was getting? Glad someone else had the same question. I still don't know what they were for.

3 shots total = Hep B vaccination!

My first thought, too. I'm required to have them for work (medical). Secnd shot a month after, then six months later. But I also needed a titer a year later.

I can't speak to lesbians & HPV but Hep C can be transmitted by mouth to genitals. It's my understanding that Hep C can be transmitted the same way, but much less frequently.

Could also be HPV vaccine, which is given in 3 doses. She's a bit outside the recommended age range for that vaccine, though.
