Syfy burning off remaining episodes, Aug 10, 2013

It appears that Syfy is having a marathon of all episodes on Aug 10, 2013, beginning at 10am EST. "New" episodes (i.e., not yet shown on Syfy) begin at 5pm EST.

Not sure if this a guide error or not but fans are going to be upset if at 10pm EST they show "The Great Escape" again after airing it 7pm EST. instead of the series finale The Sound of Thunder Part 2.

I was just coming to ask that same thing. The line up on the channels webpage shows part 1 and part 2 being aired, but Dish Networks guide shows a repeat of that ep. If the channel is showing they're going to air both parts, I'd guess they will. Guides have been known to be wrong before, so it wouldn't be the first time. Just hoping it is an error.

My Comcast/Xfinity schedule is showing part 1 at 9pm EST and part 2 at 10pm.

I'll check tonight and see what my guide says for Saturday at that time, see if its changed. Otherwise, guess we'll just have to wait and see. Dish has screwed up before for SciFi channel, it said one thing was supposed to be on and I believe Defiance was actually on.

Yeh, where is Thunder part 2? Inquiring minds want to know (and see).....

All episodes including Thunder PartII are currently available to watch on the series website: primevalnewworld.com

I'm emailing syfy [email protected] to see if they will put it back up somehow so those of us who missed it can still watch. It wouldn't hurt if others did the same thing...

I was setting my DVR and it's showing the same on Directv, "The Great Escape" again instead of "The Sound of Thunder Part 2". It has to be SyFy's fault, I just hope they find their error and show the right episode!!!

Yes manwithacamera. My TV listings (I can go to 3 diff for info) shows a repeat of an old episode vs Thunder part 2.... So we will be left swinging in the wind? ARG.

I'm watching it now and it annoys what they did with this show. Even when it ran they never had repeats even on Sat nite when it aired. and its not on demand; I have Comcast. SO if you miss it youre screwed. Warehouse 13 and Defiance were repeatd ad nauseum; it seemed everyday they reran one or two episodes but this gets nothing?

And now just slamdunk all the episodes. I really liked the original Primeval and think this is decent mainly thanks to Niall Matter. But Syfy isnt giving it a chance.

So... no Thunder part 2?

reply

There was Thunder part 2. The episode was miss labeled.

We can't fully blame SyFy for the cancellation of Primeval:New World. They didn't have anything to do with the production of the series. They just bought the rights to air it. Sinbad was also cancelled before SYFY aired it so that is why the two were paired together on Saturday night.
