April and her art

She doesn't need a fancy art program to validate herself as an artist. She can just sell her work in her shop. It matches the kind of merchandise she sells, so people who go into her store would naturally be drawn to her style. Plus she would be able to profit from it instead of becoming a "starving artist"...

I don't know why she feels the need to give up art... 

I thought that, too. I actually expected something to happen like someone in the shop accidentally selling her painting before she could show it to the woman and then the customer would end up being connected to an art gallery.

April is about to go DARK SIDED - her painting had a shadow figure staring at the Golden Gate Bridge. They've already done the suicide cliffhanger with Calista so it isn't that, but too literal of daring to take the plunge can't be spelled out more.

So subtle.

Also - note that the painting April showed what's-her-face wasn't the same Golden Bridge one (aka TAKE THE JUMP). I bet there'll be some nonsense about April not being her real self, blah blah blah, and then she shows her crappy "real" art and what's-her-face will be impressed and ta-da April is now a successful artist.

I just pray that they won't drag out this meaningless storyline to the finale.
