Get rid of Lucy and spice up April or get rid of them both

April is boring. Her storylines involve a bratty kid and having a new relationship each season. ENOUGH. As another thread on here says, for a show called Mistresses, there aren't any. April needs a storyline that is truly scandalous.

Joss ran away from her wedding to be with her former brother in law.

Karen had an affair with a married patient. She had a HIV scare. She had a relationship with a married couple and became pregnant.

April. Has. Done. Nothing.

And I really think that they should replace Alyssa as Savi. I liked the character of Savi and would love to see the fallout of her return but Alyssa never seemed right.

I agree, Karen is a HUGE hot mess but at least she has some drama and actual serious storylines.

April feels so self absorbed, I do wish they'd ship Lucy off to boarding school

I guess that I'm in the minority b/c I find Karen to be the boring one. I'd like to see her, in a story, that shows more about who she is than who she is sleeping with. We'll see how April is with her new love. I personally think that she can do better.

Although I am addicted to this show, I know it would eventually fall completely off track with the title. In the beginning, they were all mistresses or had husbands that had mistresses. It was pretty apparent that they couldn't keep that going forever, and now the title doesn't really make sense anymore. It should just be called "Women" or something. Haha!

That being said, if they made this show about a group og women that actually all were secret or open mistresses with married man, and had that bond because of it, it would make more sense. The storylines from the beginning was very short lived

If I remember, the very first season was based off of/a remake of a British TV show of the same name http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0969007/?ref_=nv_sr_2...but then from S2 onward it veered into its own thing...or an over the top/overly soapy, multi-ethnic take on SATC, sort of a SATC LA or something. lol.

I vote get rid of Lucy. I really like April, but that girl (the character, not the actress) is horrible.

I agree with this. The actress has grown up so much though! I think all of us have seen enough storylines involving bratty, rebellious teens. I think April and Lucy's relationship was irreparably damaged by that ridiculous Paul fiasco last year. Shipping Lucy off to boarding school might be the only way to protect her at this point. April probably couldn't afford it though.

Lucy gets brattier each year. April gets more neurotic each year. I like to fast forward when they are on screen.

So true about Lucy.

Although, I hated Karen's S2 storyline, and S3 looks even more dull - at least she goes through changes.

April stays redundant and stale every time. I really hate her with Mark. That's even more dull of a situation. Blair should've been in that role - minus he's control issues
