Nice movie, but....

Every character in it is kind of a jerk.

- Miles intentionally screws up the main character's RPG game and uses the nerds to feel good about himself.

- The main character had no drive in his life, punches holes in walls, etc... and he went completely nuts towards the end.

- The other rpg group members see their friend slipping into craziness and don't do much to help him.

- The main character's family is horrible, his Grandma's kind of funny, but she throws a remote at his head.

That said I enjoyed this far more than "Knights of Badassdom" which is another recent geeky group type movie.

Theres no evidence that miles intentionally screw with scotts game out of malice, scott was being a boring control freak and miles just wanted toshake things up a bit, just because he didnt invite some people to his party doesnt make him a bad guy.

scotts old tabletop players didnt want to help him because it took some one like miles to make them realize how big a jerk scott acted toward his 'friends' all this time.

sure scotts nana was kinda jerk, you would be too if your ditzy daughter abandoned her jerk kid that you had to take care for 20 something years.
