Literally one of the worst films ever

I mean really, really awful in an epic way. The plot was just terrible and all the characters were absolutely hateable and abysmal people, with the exception of the husband who was just a plain doormat.

I had a totally different opinion of this film. I enjoyed it very much.

Fair enough

I enjoyed the film. I thought some of the characters were relatable and while there were no "roll on the floor laughing" scenes, I found it humorous.

I wanted to add that your response of "fair enough" to another poster that indicated he/she enjoyed the film-made me feel that there's hope for IMDB. I'm so used to people responding, "well, you're a freakin' idiot if you liked it!". It's turned me off the site.

Cheers.

"Gentlemen you can't fight in here!" "This is the war room!" Dr. Strangelove

your reply of FAIR ENOUGH was awesome--i've never seen somebody humble themselves to a human level after such a brash put-down on something where a strong opinion was given--it could have easily went ugly--you're a good person..

reply

Lol no.

reply

I see the original poster is a good person too. But unfortunately you are not.

reply

Your mom only told you that I'm not a good person because I hit it and then never called her back. Apologize to her for me and tell her she can keep my t-shirt.

reply

Ok, that was funny.

Marion Cotillard, Keira Knightley and Olga Kurylenko are the most beautiful women on Earth.

While I would never call it "one of the worst ever" I found the first hour pretty hard to stick with. ALL the characters were annoying, I couldn't sympathize with or root for any of them. There was way too frequent really inane dialog, almost like a bad Woody Allen script. But I stuck with it and found the last 25 or so minutes much better. Overall a disappointment, but it has some redeeming qualities.

Interestingly the part I liked the best was the young girlfriend taking charge at the end and telling the dad he'd better be supportive of his daughters or else. It wasn't the character I would have expected her to be, and of course it was written that way for a purpose.

Definitely far from the worst movie ever.

Make a choice, to take a chance, to make a difference.

Actually agree with you about the girlfriend. That part was good, and unexpected.

When you play the Game Of Thrones, you win or you die. There is no middle ground

reply

Totally agree.

reply

In my opinion your opinions suck.
