absolutely awful....

1) sh!tty a$$ parents.
2) 10 years (+/-) goes by without them even having breakfast or seeing each other?
3) Elsa's character.
4) Hanz is a very nice fella to start and then does a complete 180 to the point of murder. made absolutely no sense and was a BS move by the writers.
5) sh!tty a$$ parents.
6) stupid trolls that aren't really trolls, they're gremlins.

it did have some good qualities:

1) Kristoff, Sven, and Anna were likeable characters.

those characters were not enough to save this pos.

I agree with all your points especially no.1. The parents are mental. And the business with hanz is totally bizarre.

How did you like the music?
How did you like the score?
What did you think about the pitched percussion element present in every song?
What are your feelings regarding using a slide whistle as the effect of Elsa's magic and how would you have voiced the duet pairings with the slide whistle?
Which one did you like best? The French Horn, Oboe, Clarinet or Flute? I think the timpani had one to fulfill the pitched percussion theme. Even though the slide whistle would also have to be considered pitched percussion.
Do you have any opinions about the use of Sami chants and words?
Did you notice the nod to Oh Antiphons during For the First Time in Forever Reprise? At the end? Pretty cool considering that melody is the first known melody regarding the start of Winter. It's used in the hymn Oh Come Oh Come Emmanuel.
Anyway, glad to hear you like Kristoff, Sven and Anna. Your 1 and 5 are the same, you would have finished them off sooner?

Can't please every child l guess. Most of my friend's kids loved "Frozen" but only up until they were about 7.

Then people seem to like "Frozen" again as adults and they often analyse the movie try to read deeper meaning into it.

reply

I disagree that it's absolutely awful!

It's like "Skyfall", one of those movies that are pretty bad overall, but which have a few really great scenes. So people overrate them because of the really great scenes, because all the forgettable scenes float out of their memories.
