Do you think Katie was telling the truth when she said this?

In the second season when Katie is being interviewed, she talks about how her and Paul had an "intimate" moment upstairs in his house while Sally was downstairs. The way she spoke it was pretty clear that she said it happened before the first season started. Do you think she was telling the truth? It seemed like there was something about her and Paul the way they looked at each other when we see them for the first time together in season 1. She was also quite provocative around him and he was often short with her. Like they did do something at one point and he realized it was a mistake but she wasn't having it. Do you think what she said about them being together was true or just a story she was telling the detective?

I always thought it was largely in her head. She is a pretty *beep* up young one who is just utterly obsessed with him, and was flattered by his attention

Having dealt with numerous teens on crisis hotlines, I wouldn't put Katie in the category of "reliable reporter."

My Chimp DNA seems to have lost its password temporarily. Sluggr-2

I like the categorisation, "not a reliable reporter". I find so many adults...let alone young...unable to recount factually what they just experienced. IMHO. But this character, her hormonal instability, if age appropriate deluded state makes for dangerous, disturbing media seeking attention. Just watched ep 3.1, didn't have a clue what direction 3 could take. Still don't know.
