Did the Friend/Ladies Maid stay on?

She just dropped out of the story...I also thought she started acting like she had sided with the enemy....but then....and why was there a scene where the nephew came into the room with blood on this hands and start kissing her? Was that someone's imagination?

reply

He seduced her in order to turn her away from Emily. It worked, but only for a while. She was probably lied regarding their ultimate plot to kill Emily and the Child. My guess is that she did stay on as Emily never really knew the whole truth about Jane. In the end, she really did nothing wrong towards Emily.

The friend tells emily that she's bored out of her mind stuck in the middle of nowhwere. Having an affair with emilys evil nephew was probably just out of mind numbing isolation and bordum. The blood on his hands was REALLY BIZZARE. At first I thought it was metaphorical "he had blood on his hands" dream emily was having. But I think it was really happening. All I can imagine was that her friend was a virgin and then she wasnt.

That actually makes sense. I couldn't understand why Jane would allow a man's bloody hand into her mouth.

Seriously! I just watched this and I thought he'd killed her and was kissing her corpse! I had to look ahead in the image thumbnail to make sure Jane was still alive.
