Bret Easton Ellis, please. Stop. Now.

For me, imdb often gets the ratings wrong in terms of the GRADATIONS of how good or bad a film is, but I almost always agree with imdb'ers about the overall "good" or "bad" quality. And when a film is below 6 it is indeed almost always dogsh--.
If it's below 5 it's unwatchable. If it's below 4......
Well, I watched this film last year due to Bret Easton Ellis's insistence that it's really "not that bad."

EDIT: I need to clarify that that "not that bad" are my words... his words are horrifying... he actually seems to imply that it's a MODERN CLASSIC.

Yeah, dude. It is. It's beyond horrible. Yet even on his current podcast and in many recent podcasts he praises it.
Please just stop. Look at the rating-- 3.9. Take it in. It sucks. It's not "just because of Lindsey and the critics' hatred for her." It's just a
god
awful
movie.
