Truth is, both Allison and Christiana have excellent noses for the stage. I find them to be quite pretty anyway, for everyday life, though some would consider their noses larger than ideal. But those kinds of noses can make a face more interesting for the stage, as opposed to, say, a cute, pert little nose, which often just disappears. One case in point is the great American ballerina of the 1960s through 1980s (maybe even a bit into the '90s), Cynthia Gregory. She was (probably still is) a majestically beautiful woman, who commanded the stage not only with her strong, pristine, graceful technique and lovely physique, but also with a beautiful, arresting face, which featured a slightly prominent nose--perfect. At some point, she had her nose altered slightly, making it a little smaller and more 'conventionally pretty.' I felt it was a loss, in terms of arresting stage presence, for the audience; still, having a nose I'd love to get slightly smoothed out and maybe reduced in size, just a tiny bit, I can't blame her for going for what pleased her. She still was magnificent. Anyway, beauty for the stage and desired beauty off it don't always match exactly.
Multiplex: 100+ shows a day, NONE worth watching. John Sayles' latest: NO distribution. SAD.
