Clash Mark II

It's unfortunate that the post-Mick Clash II is only known (outside hardcore Clash fans) for the wonderfully titled Cut The Crap, on which the new band members basically didn't play anyway. Thank the increasingly desperate Bernie Rhoades for that, as well as Joe's mismanagement. What's not widely known is that Clash II were an awesome live band. They rocked hard and in some aspects were superior in concert to the original Clash (e.g. Pete Howard on drums). Check out the bootlegs from 1984.

I still haven't seen this documentary, but I'm curious to see if it's coverage of the "fall" of The Clash even gives Mark II credit for being a kick azz live band. The post-Mick Clash had a decent reputation right up until the release of CTC.
