Needed better editing to make it faster paced

This movie actually had a really decent story behind it. Maybe not a particularly original story but still this should have been a eerie little supernatural thriller with faster paced editing maybe? I can't even really put my finger on WHY it ended up being so rubbish. Any budding film-makers out there that would agree?

It's too cerebral! We're trying to make a movie here, not a film!

I can. Here's 3 quick ones. Will Wallace, as a leading man, has all the charisma of an old bill board whose poster hasn't changed for years and is just peeling and torn . The storyline has huge gaps in logic and common sense. The soundtrack is just plain annoying.🐭
