GREAT SHOW

To bad it was cancelled. Not many good ones on these days.

Yeah there was something different about this show. Plus I feel it really had that special something but my opinion is as good as any which isn't saying much, I guess. A lot of first episodes feel contrived and cheesy because a show is new and they want to look it interesting. Just my opinion- So the first episodes sort of felt contrived because of Cassandra (The high school bully? Okay sure. Guess besides being a jealous biatch and being popular she had time to be smart in school) and Will (The longtime friend/acquaintance with mixed messages; there's his "flaw" Emily!) and the always "pissed" Dr. Banderi (Who's so strong and serious and stuff like that because she didn't get where she is by being Patch Adams) but it was good even though the high school-esque thing is kind of irritating, at least they give a cause for hospital drama unlike other shows where it just seems to follow them around.

But when Emily handled her first patient I really liked her. I would appreciate someone like that to talk to me as a doctor. Also the feel of the show seems more positive and not grim and depressing like nearly every single dramatic medical show before it. This one actually balanced it out.
