the new anvil documentary of another band that never did make it. but as a last resort do a documentary in the hopes to get their 15min fame. that crappy metal band anvil are still riding their 15min fame from their documentary. so i guess this crap band will also do good, people just love to see band dramas on the big screen. bring it on!!!....

i guess she was not open minded at all and i just found out... why me, why this girl and not a girl that understands, i am so tired of this, aaarrgh!. you think things did calm down, they did not. it have been an ongoing argument about the movies i like and she dont like, she even called me a weirdo i am not. she is nice and hot but not on the same wave if you know what i mean, it is depressing. when you think you have found the rigth person and things like this happen. so i think a break up of the relationship are evitable in the distant future. some girls are so closed minded and protected that they live in their own pink barbie/kent world, it is sad.
Alex Chilton's first band to have any significant national presence was not Alex Chilton's band. It was called the Box Tops, and it belonged to a major label, professional songwriters, probably some organized crime, and the requisite network of promotion that all came together back then to create commercial success. That was not even Chilton's natural voice, but "The Letter" was the #1 selling song of 1967, a VERY heady year in the history of rock. Along with the other great songs performed by the Box Tops, you had a short-lived but very memorable and successful venture that Alex could never come close to topping. I can't wait to see this, but I do regret the lack of documentaries on other bands of the time - most notably the Cowsills, with their Beach Boys' style harmonies and their Beach Boys' style tyrant of a father. Luckily, that doc has now come out and I look forward to seeing that one and this one.
