Do kids really like this show?

This show is HORRIBLE the writing and acting is pretty bad.I thought maybe im just growing out of humor aimed at kids but there are plenty kid shows i like and even my nephews 7 and 9 don't find the show funny.nick, cartoon network and disney have plenty of kid friendly and FUNNY shows. THIS is not one of them. :/ and i really don't appreciate the loud annoying black guy character pretty stereotypical.

Ok I'll bite please elaborate on how Shameik's character is stereotypical? Because acting loud and obnoxious are personality traits that anyone of any race can posses not just black people.

I agree with you however, when a black actor intentionally plays a character like that its called "cooning"(Modern day coons are blacks who play stereotypical roles and black entertainers that promote ignorance.) as in the loud annoying wide eyed black guy acting over the top most apparent in the annoying guy skit where he has OFCOURSE GRAPE SODA ...it equally annoys me and is pretty much the same thing when a white person plays a stereotypical role as in they are corny, out of touch with the times, cant dance and or racially insensitive due to ignorance ect...id be less bothered if his character or script was actually funny..infact id prob let it pass.im not so much bashing his as an actor though im sure he acts out what he is given.

I'm well aware of what cooning is I've seen enough clips of Tyler Perry movies to understand what the term is. So what if he was holding a grape flavored drink in that particular skit and I really doubt Cartoon Network would let Nick Cannon and crew air the skit In question if it was even remotely offensive. Especially in this day and age where everybody is so scared of hurting someone feelings because of this PC movement bullhonkey which rendered most people being incapable of laughing at themselves. Now the only thing I got from most of the skits Shameik starred in was that he resembled a young Chris Tucker(except Shamiek is a better dancer).

I'm not OFFENDED i just find it a bit to stereotypical and annoying most loud obnoxious characters they give him are just that, with little to no actual character. but that can be said for the whole cast/script IMO(the lack of actual characters).
