Spoiler to save you the pain of watching this horrible movie

The wife is a very unlikeable character. The husband's character is under developed... You don't know too much about him. Robin Thicke (ex boyfriend) can't act.

The wife cuts her hand and can't work. She's bored and happens to cross paths with her ex boyfriend. They have an affair and she gets pregnant (probably by him). She ends up loosing the baby soon after. She ends the affair. The husband has no clue of the affair. Although the husband and wife are sad about loosing the baby, the wife is relieved she narrowly escaped a sticky situation. The husband and wife continue along in their marriage.
