Miller really had no clue about what Mission Style looks like. She needed to take a few minutes and do some on-line research. The boys were right to disqualify that piece of junk she bought.

I have been a cabinet and furniture maker for almost 15 years,and I would say it was Mission Style influence,but pretty clearly a newer piece. As a pro she should have known better,but it was similarly designed to Mission,and I would expect a novice to be unable to tell. Remember,different designers of the era would come up with varying concepts of what they considered " Mission". But again,she does this for a living. I think she knew,but had no other prospects.
