You know, on the personal level this is very sad. Because you know what? Maleria is awful, but it is here and it is part of natures population control. Those women abandoned the most important person in their life, their husbands, at the lowest time of the husband's life and tryed to save the world, which is impossible and therefore a waste of time. In the long run, what really is the result of their work?

If the most important work of a woman's life is her husband, then she has a very small life, indeed.

Are you really that shallow?

I get what you meant about husband first. When you marry, according to the Bible there is;
1. God
2. Your spouse (husband is the lead)
3. Your children
4. All others
I understand what she wanted to do for her son by giving him real world experience and for her to lead him to the knowledge. I would love to be able to do that for my kids. I didn't like the fact that she did it without her husband's true approval. It seemed a "whether you like it or not" thing. It does show that she consulted a doctor and was "good to go" on vaccinations. It did not show and further precautionanry medications being taken. If they were taking those medications it would seem to make a point in the movie, like even though you take the medicines you can still be at risk.
From our stand point the idea that they got 50 nets may not seem like alot. But it is 50 more than they had. As for any links, just as they were using the internet to research information, we can too.
