This movie was...

...surprisingly decent actually. Just watched it today and was pleasantly surprised by it being a solid adventure movie. It definitely has its faults (i.e. the first 20 mins or so drag and I felt the connection to the first movie was a little shaky) but overall it was an enjoyable film for sure. I just hope they don't rush the 3rd movie since it's pretty clear they weren't planning on this being the huge success that it was. I even kinda liked the closed off ending they gave it since that's something you rarely see in movies nowadays.
