Similarity to ANOTHER high profile case!

Maybe it's just me but doesn't this case(based on true events) seem HIGHLY similar to the Jodi Arias case of recent notariety?
Please correct me if I'm wrong or if you agree, what makes YOU think they're so similar? I just can't quite put my finger on what about this case, other than the # of wounds, makes me remember the Arias trial so much!
