What happened between the mad women and the mad guy?

last night ep had a crazy old lady who hates muslims and a mental guy who screamed at her. then the whole thing was just over. what the hell happened?

Be patient with me as I'm going to do a bit of paraphrasing here. The bit is titled Totally Innappriate (or something like that). He gets these people that are so far out there with their hatred and prejudice. They have a little chat or in the case of the woman and man a little yell. After just a bit Russell is through listening and or giving the hatred filled person more attention and tells them it's time to leave. Before they leave he will give them a little hug and tells them that even though they have differing views it is still nice to be respectful of one another and not filled with hatred. I hope I helped.

I don't know, but I am curious about the other woman that Russell told to shut the *beep* up and told the boom operator to leave her.

That was my first guess too, but knowing Russell's style, I would bet all my money it was real. And then, at the end when he chats with the sign-holder again (during the credits), it made me even more sure that it was real. Best episode I've seen so far! We need a little more unpredictability on tv, that's why I love this show.

I edit the show and I can tell you the sign holder was absolutely NOT planned. He had he sign folded up under his shirt. How he knew about her being on? We suspected she must have blogged that she was going to be on the show. It is not hard to get on as an audience member. He probably read her blog and then showed up with the sign. As for the woman who RB told to "Shut up", she WAS a plant....by Pamela. And when she started parroting Pamela's hate speak from the audience Russel shut it down.

right, but why was it edited. we didn't see any of that. all i saw was the guy screaming and then russell went to a break.

are you still working on the show now it's gone live? what are the crews opinion of russell's style. do they think it's a no go and won't work on US tv?
