Best Muppet Movie since the original from the 1970's

I was SO surprised at how good this was.

Subversive humor throughout - in a way I've not seen in The Muppets ever.

Songs were great.

The villain, Constantine was HILARIOUS.

The cameos, particularly the international focus, were great (though why was Salma Hayek chosen for Spain other than the fact that she speaks Spanish?), especially Celine Dion. That was funny.

Tina Fey is always charming and Ricky Gervais was fun; Ty Burrell was terrible and the only disappointment in the film.

I disagree. I think The Muppets was better than this. I think the problem is that the caper plot isn't interesting, the cameos are too quick, the songs aren't as memorable this time, and the Muppets are a little too stupid to fall for Constantine being Kermit. Especially Fozzie. Man, was he an idiot!

The Muppets have always been known for subversive humor. I assure you this underwhelming reboot didn't invent it. 😫
