I like Gervais but i felt as though the human actors were the wrong actors for the parts they played in the movie. The cameos other than Christoph Waltz were nothing special either. I would of cast someone like Simon Pegg as Dominic or someone who is great performing in a kids movie and has energy.

shareI didn't like Ty Burrell in that role. He was trying to do Peter Sellers' Inspector Clouseau, a big mistake.

This was much better than the muppets. The last muppet movie was a Jason Segal movie that featured the muppets so it was not a true muppets movie.
shareThe problem with Inspector Clouseau is that the character is the actor, not bigger than the actor, unlike Batman with Christian Bale. Nobody can do what Sellers did as that character and nobody should even try. My answers are valid and an opinion.
