NO. They were NEVER married. PERIOD.


I don't know how many times goofy people keep asking or bringing up the ending of Muppets Take Manhattan with the 'wedding' at the ending. How hard is it to figure out that it was NOT a real wedding. It was a BROADWAY PLAY that they did. The wedding was just the last scene of the play that they were doing which means that the marriage never really existed. It would be about as real as actors/actresses in a movie or a tv show actually being married when their characters were getting married... 

Well, that was a real minister there. And Kermit was surprised when he saw him and mentioned he thought Gonzo was going to play the minister.

I don't care if they flew in the Pope for the role. It's STILL not recognized as an official wedding. If there was a movie, TV show,a play or whatever involving a character having surgery and the actor that played the surgeon was in fact an actual surgeon in real life, does that mean that person really performed surgery on that actor that portrayed the character having surgery?


