Really bad show

Just about everything on this show is terrible. The acting was brutal by everyone. I didn't laugh at one joke. I think NBC should give up on signing comedy deals. The office people like but a network like CBS is much better. CBS has produced Everybody Loves Raymond, How I Met Your Mother and the Big Bang Theory. I say this show gets cancelled after week two. Its a shame because it has Jamie Singler and Anthony Anderson in it.

I agree. It's just another contrived show with whipped men, disrespectful children, and bossy women. Hardly entertaining.

Something clever and witty to impress and amuse the reader.

NBC must not have anything to replace it with that is any better. If that is true they are really having problems.

They have several shows on standby, but whether they are any good remains to be seen.

As opposed to what, reality? Isn't that what Hollywood is supposed to be, made up stories to entertain the folks?

I don't think the acting is bad. I'm not liking the show because they play the laugh track when the lines aren't funny.

Or even just static or an infomercial or something. It is worse than The New Normal. I didn't think that was even possible. Even the title is dumb.

Are you suggesting that a test pattern could increase viewership by 16% if "Go on" were its lead in, the way that this show did last Friday Night? Personally, I think that witty dialogue and comedic situations is funnier than watching Matthew Perry believe that he is better than anyone in his support group. And apparently the Nielsen viewers agreed with me.

Do you understand the origin of the "test pattern" joke? It's generally a comment you make about a show which is benefitting from a strong lead in. "NBC could have aired a test pattern between Friends and Seinfeld and it would have been the 3rd highest rated show on TV."

When the show does better than its lead-in, the "test pattern" reference becomes confusing. Why would people tune in just to watch a test pattern? Was the prior show, which in this case was "Go on" that much worse?

This is just another tedious, sponsored-TV, situation comedy show. The only thing I find even remotely appealing about this show is the two hot leads who make the most of a situation whose comedic value wears thin very quickly.

You are kidding with this statement "NBC should give up on signing comedy deals. The office people like but a network like CBS is much better. CBS has produced Everybody Loves Raymond, How I Met Your Mother and the Big Bang Theory", right??

Lets not forget that NBC has been the network to launch some of the top comedy series of all time. Friends and Seinfeld were both NBC Comedies...also 30 Rock is on the top too. Those two (possibly three) shows easily make up for the 'oops' that the network has also made. While I agree that Everybody Loves Raymond, HIMYM, and the Big Bang Theory are amazing shows, those can't be used to discredit NBC comedy.
