Horrible, even for a kids movie

The concept of the movie is actually good. Unfortunately it's poorly written and directed.

I get that it's a kids movie. And for some reason people like to really talk down to kids. This could've been a fun movie, in the right hands. The acting is so over the top though. A lot of the reactions shots might as well have been in a silent film for how broad they were. The kids were really bad. I blame the directing though. But the kids were written so badly. And I'm guessing the director made them act way younger than they were and overact so much.

I'm not saying to not see this. Kids might enjoy it. It really could've been a decent movie.
