i liked it the first time when it was called "dead girl"

IT DOESNT MATTER WHAT YOU THINK...

where the guys banged the zombie tied up in the basement of the asylum and contracted zombie aids.

suck it.

Saw that one. Yeah, they're kind of similar in premise I guess.

reply

The only similarities they have is women who are zombies and the outbreak spreading through sex. That's it.

In Contracted, the plot revolves around a woman's gradual process of becoming a zombie. Her character is greatly developed over the course of the film. We learn of her relationship struggles and how horrifying the transition from human to zombie is. In Dead Girl, the "girl" is already a zombie when first introduced. We never learn anything of her character. Only the dude's living girlfriend is developed as a character, and she quickly becomes a captive sex zombie at the end. We never see her struggle with zombification, which is the main focus of Contracted.

They're nothing alike.

You're a moron. This movie is nothing like Dead Girl. Actually watch this move before commenting next time. Moron.

reply

Not really if Contracted is a rip-off of anything its a rip-off (More like improvement) of thanatomorphose from 2012 because they are the exact same film, necrotic std and all. And if you want to look at it that way then Deadgirl is a rip-off of the Marcus Koch's first film Rot from 1999 about getting an std from having sex with a corpse.

reply

Nope. Contracted is about the transition of a human into a zombie. The climax is in the "turn" at the end.

Thanatomorphose isn't. The woman in that movie never turns into a zombie. She just dies a miserable death. It also lacks the relationship dynamics (straight man pursuing lesbian)that made the characterization more interesting in Contracted. Also, Contracted was written in 2012 and filmed in May of the same year, predating the release of Thanatomorphose.

Marcus Koch's Rot is not a zombie movie either, and beyond the very broad STD from corpse and passing it around theme, it shares no similarities with Dead Girl, where the plot revolves around two guys having sex with a captive zombie and the morality of it.
In fact, both of those movies you mention are more like Eli Roth's Cabin Fever than any zombie movie.

reply

When I saw Contacted I'm talking about the film on its on because once that film ended she was just dead from a necrotic std and not a zombie until the sequel.

No, in Contracted, she turned into a zombie at the end. She then attacked her mother and that's when you hear her screams as the picture fades out.
